A Decade of Family: Reflecting on 10 Years of Adoption Services & Law Group

Imagine a world where every child finds a loving home, a space where they feel secure, valued, and loved. This is not just a hopeful dream but the daily mission of Adoption Services and Law Group (ASLG) in Topeka, which celebrated a decade of transforming this vision into reality this June.

Over the past ten years, ASLG has been instrumental in shaping the lives of countless families through the adoption process, proving time and again that every child deserves a forever family.

They view adoption as more than a legal process, but a journey of love and commitment.

Current statistics reveal that over 135,000 children are adopted in the United States each year, with each story highlighting a unique pathway to family building. Central to these transformative family stories in Kansas, ASLG has guided about 200 adoptions, helping form numerous new families.

Celebrating a Milestone

To celebrate its 10th year, ASLG hosted the “Forever Families” picnic at the Topeka Zoo. The event served as a reunion for families whose lives have been changed by ASLG’s work over the past years.

Lisa Williams, the leading adoption attorney at ASLG, shared her thoughts on a news feature at WIBW, “To see the joy that the parents have to have these children in their lives and to know how these children’s, their lives have been transformed. It’s really incredible.”

The picnic not only honored past achievements but also marked the beginning of a new chapter with the announcement of “Shape of My Heart Adoptions,” which was launched on July 1.

This initiative will expand ASLG’s robust support network, ensuring even more children find their forever homes filled with love and warmth. It promises to build on a firm foundation of care, expertise, and compassion that has characterized their first decade.

Continuing the Mission

As ASLG commemorates a decade of commitment to creating families and nurturing connections that last a lifetime, the firm continues to provide services that create stories of impact and growth and give enhanced support for families and children in need.

For those considering adoption or seeking to learn more about creating a forever family, ASLG is equipped to guide you every step of the way–from pre-adoption to post-adoption.

Here’s to continuing the journey of love, family, and new beginnings—here’s to another decade of making a difference, one child, one family at a time.
